Intelligent, unrelenting advocacy.
Our Law Firm
Intelligent advocacy is efficient, agile, and effective. In civil litigation this intelligence is earned in the courtroom, in trials. Fluency in trial practice allows the intelligent advocate to weaken the opponent's position from the outset of litigation, coercing settlement. Unrelenting advocacy means never being out hustled. These concepts underpin the ethos of The Garrard Firm.
Our Founder
Corey Garrard is a second-generation trial attorney. During law school, Garrard focused on honing his trial skills knowing those, more than any other, would allow him to achieve the best results possible for his clients. Garrard received the highest merit-based scholarship (the Kennedy Scholarship) to attend California Western School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2014. Garrard has returned to CWSL as an adjunct law professor teaching California Evidence, the trial lawyer's primary tool.
Garrard has since tried multiple cases to juries and the bench, with claims ranging in value from five to eight figures. These have included claims for personal injury, fraud, breach of contract, breach of warranty, sexual molestation, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence.
Our Practice Areas
01.
Personal Injury
We represent people injured in accidents as well as by the intentional or wrongful conduct of others, including car and motorcycle accidents, assault, battery, and sexual molestation and harassment.
02.
Contract Disputes
Most transactions in our lives are governed by contracts. The Garrard Firm can prepare and analyze prospective contracts for its clients, as well as initiate litigation when needed.
03.
Business Disputes
We represent businesses in all aspects of their operation, from formation through trial of disputed matters.
04.
Property Disputes
Buying and selling property is fraught with risk for buyers, sellers, and their agents. The realities of home and rental-property ownership are similarly complex. The Garrard Firm can help with residential and commercial transactions, landlord/tenant disputes, and neighbor v. neighbor conflicts
